Reducing Swollen Gums With Plaque Removal
Gum disease is a dental conditions that affecting a number of people and more often it is neglected for symptoms are unrecognizable at its early stage unless pain and discomfort already bothers the patient. With gum disease, tender and swollen gums is being experience and gums appear to be red and puffy.
Swollen gums is one of the early indication of gum infection as a result of excessive accumulation of plaque. Plaque produces acids which are responsible for the inflammation of gums. With proper oral care practice which includes brushing, flossing and rinsing of water and salt solution plaque cab be eliminated and swollen gums can be completely avoided and if not, reduced. Plaque are being formed from bacteria which comes from food particles left in the mouth, thus proper oral care is essential in preventing gum diseases.
